Survey Participation Raises Funds for The Pantry
Students completing their UCUES survey raised $760 for The ASUCD Pantry
The ASUCD Pantry received $760 through a recent UCUES fundraising campaign supported by Budget and Institutional Analysis (BIA), helping advance efforts to address student food and hygiene insecurity at UC Davis.
During the campaign, BIA pledged to donate $1 for every UC Undergraduate Experience Survey (UCUES) submitted beginning May 1. The campaign concluded on May 10 with strong student participation and a final contribution of $760 to The Pantry.
To celebrate the final day of the campaign, student volunteers and interns hosted a tabling event where students who completed the survey could spin a prize wheel for a chance to win ASUCD trading cards, CoHo gift cards, spices, and other giveaways. Students also received stickers, buttons, and candy while learning more about The Pantry and campus basic needs resources.
The Pantry is a student-run basic needs center that works to combat food and hygiene insecurity by providing free groceries, fresh produce, toiletries, and other essentials to UC Davis students. Support from campus partnerships and community fundraising efforts helps The Pantry continue expanding access to these important resources throughout the academic year.
